Habichuelology

● Follow the ​ (1) ​ product directions for preparation.

● Set your fire to medium-high and ​​(2) ​ your pot to begin heating.

​ (3) ​ 2 to 4 heaping teaspoons of sofrito into the pot and allow to cook.

● When sizzling, add in the 8 ounce ​ (4) ​of tomato sauce along with a packet of ​sazón​ con achiote and adobo. (Be generous.)

● This will most likely turn the mixture from ​ (5) ​to​ ​red, but don’t ​ (6) !​

The change in color is normal.

● Finally, add the beans.

● Permit the pot to come to a ​ (7) ​.

● Allow the bean sauce to thicken
