"This piece was inspired by freshly washed clothing hanging languidly from a sagging clothesline in a one-room apartment during a January in Japan. While I drew, I thought about how, although the clothes appeared devastatingly static, they were in constant motion as they underwent the barely perceptible process of becoming dry."
Natasha Sharpe is a junior animation major at the Rhode Island School of Design and when she grows up she would like to be a coral reef.
