Deborah Dendler was born in Chicago in 1950 and studied sculpture at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Concentrating on forms that exist in the natural world, Dendler works mostly from life. She has exhibited her work extensively in solo, group, and invitational shows throughout the US and in London, Paris, Munich, Tokyo, Singapore, and Sydney.
