"This work is part of a book of graphic prints, photography and illustration titled When Is It My Turn. It confronts the cultural and economic barriers in our society. Taking cues from the photo essay work of Gordon Parks and the protest art and social commentary of Emory Douglas, When Is It My Turn uses visual art as a method of agitation and social action."
