Candice James has shown her work at Artists On The River ; Queen's Park Art Gallery; and New Westminster Public Library and has sold many of her paintings at these showings. She is self taught and the medium she uses is acrylic on canvas. Candice has also had some of her paintings included in Wax, Poetry, Art Magazine which is a nationwide publication by editor Kirk Ramdath. Comments on her paintings suggest a surrealism reminiscent of Monet and her use of colours has been compared to Thomas Kindcaid. Her paintings exude an inherent energy that seems to instill them with a life of their own.
